115 BODIES RECOVERED FROM CRASHED PLANE

As at 1pm this afternoon,115 bodies had been recovered from the Dana Air crashed aircraft,according to the Chief Executive Officer, Lagos State Emergency Management Authority,LASEMA, Dr Femi Oke-Osanyitolu.Some of the bodies are burnt beyond recognition and DNA tests would be carried out on the dead bodies to determine who is who.Click on read more below to continue....

Relatives of victims at the Dana Accident Information Centre

The corporate communications Manager of Dana Air,Mr Tony Usidiamen also told relatives of the victims today that the bodies had been deposited at the Lagos State General Hospital and the hospital is carrying out DNA tests to help them identify their loved ones. Relatives of the victims had besieged the airport as early as 7am today and were directed to the Dana Accident Infomation Center. Many broke down on learning there were no survivors.
