FAROUK LAWAN PROMISES TO SURRENDER N93 BRIBE

Suspended Chairman of the House of Representatives Ad-Hoc Committee on the management of Fuel Subsidy,Farouk Lawan has finally promised to surrender the bribe money to Police before the end of this week,after serious psychological and physical pressure was mounted on him by Police investigators.However,he said he would only surrender the money in the presence of witnesses which would include his lawyers,Mike Ozekhome (SAN) and Isreal Olorundare.  

Lawan finally succumbed when he was shown the letter sent by Hon Adams Jagaba denying knowledge of the money or being in possession of the money. Lawan had claimed that he had handed the bribe money over Jagaba who is the Chairman of House Committee on Narcortics and Financial Crimes.
