JOINT TASK FORCE CAPTURES SUSPECTED MASTERMIND OF BOKO HARAM BOMBINGS

The Joint Task Force (JTF) on Thursday arrested the suspected mastermind of some Boko Haram bombings,Habeeb Bama.Bama was arrested in his hideout in Yobe State after a gun battle between Boko Haram members and security agents.

The ex-soldier is believed to have masterminded the bombing of the Police Force Headquarters in Abuja on June 16,2011;United Nations Headquarters in Abuja on August 26,2011 and St Theresa Catholic Church,Madalla,Niger State on December 26,2011.The Kanuri suspected terrorist had been declared wanted since last year by the State Security Service (SSS).He is currently being interrogated by security agents on his role in the bombings.
