In another development, the Lagos State Government said on wednesday that it would need two weeks to validate the identity of the dead victims and conduct autopsies. The state Attorney-General and commissioner for Justice,Mr Ade Ipaye said the two weeks would also enable the government to work out victims compensation with Dana Air's insurer,Lloyds Underwriter of London.Lloyds meanwhile has announced it would pay initial compensation of $30,000 to each victim in the next 30 days and a substantive payment of not more than $100,000.
