were formally arraigned Thursday before Justices Habeeb Abiru
and Adeniyi Onigbanjo of the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja for

The accused are being charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for conspiracy,obtaining money under false pretence,forgery and the use of false documents. Mamman
Ali and Abdullahi Arisekola-Alao were arraigned for the alleged
fraud totalling N5.6bn whileTukur,Alao,Ochonogor Alex and
Eterna Oil and Gas Plc were jointly arraigned on nine courts
including an alleged fraudulent collection of about N1.899bn
from the Federal Government as payment for subsidy which
they never supplied.
The accused were granted bail shortly after their arraignment with the exception of Alao whose bail application could not be heard. He will remain in custody until August 1 when his bail application will be heard.
