Wednesday afternoon when two suspected armed robbers on a
motor-cycle shot him in the face in Agboju suburb of Lagos.Nwosu
had reportedly just withdrawn some money from a bank in Maza
Maza and entered his official Toyota Avensis car when he was
accosted by the suspected robbers on Agboju Road.
He was said to be sitting in the front of the car with the driver
when the hoodlums blocked his car,shot him in the head and fled
with the money.Nwosu was however lucky as the shot merely
scrapped his face.The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police
Command,Ngozi Braide confirmed the incident.Initial reports
on the incident claimed it was the handiwork of suspected assasins.
