AKWA IBOM DEPUTY GOVERNOR RESIGNS

Akwa Ibom State Deputy Governor, Obong Nsima Ekere, has resigned his position with immediate effect.
He resigned on Wednesday without any official explanation.
His Chief Press Secretary, Inem Ina, confirmed the development to PUNCH on the telephone.
He said Ekere resigned “on personal grounds” and declined to elaborate.
