AKWA IBOM GOVERNOR TAKES POSSESSION OF PRIVATE JET
The government of Akwa Ibom State has confirmed that Godswill Akpabio like his Rivers State counterpart, Governor Rotimi Amaechi, also owns a brand new jet.
Akpabio took possession of the $45 million jet in July 2012.
Governor Akpabio’s state of the art jet, which carries FAA registration number N224BH, was interestingly purchased by the same Bank of Utah Trust account used by the Rivers state government. The deal was handled by a trust attorney at the bank and delivered to Mr. Akpabio.
Records show that Governor Akpabio, whose deputy resigned two days ago, has travelled abroad in the jet regularly, especially to and within the United States, since the acquisition.

If this piece of information is correct, it means that these Governors are insensitive to the plight of their people, most of whom live below the poverty line.
ReplyDeleteThe Governors cannot justify the aquisition of these planes. Are these Governors really that busy? Personally, i think they are just a set of irresponsible, idle and worthless politicians who rigged their way into leadership position.
At some point in time, they will be made to give an account of their stewardship.
