COMMUNITY VIGILANTE DENOUNCE POLICE HERROISM,CLAIMED THEY RESCUED KIDNAPED NIGERIAN SOCCER STAR, CHRISTIAN OBODO

Local vigilantes in Emevor,Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta state are angry that the Delta State police command has taken credit for the successful rescue of kidnapped soccer star,Christian Obodo.They are claiming this was not the case.

According to them,the Christian Obod had been hidden in a nearby forest during the day and was brought to a local food vendor to have a meal and that it was while Obodo was at the food vendor's that he sneaked out of the place and started screaming for help.Some villagers who heard his cries,came out and saw him and called the village viglante who swiftly came to his rescue before his kidnappers could reinforce and come after him.The vigilantes then called the police in Emevor who took Obodo away.If Christian Obodo is not too traumatised,he needs to make a statement about his rescue to clarify these claims.
