KIDNAPPED NIGERIAN MIDFIELDER, CHRISTIAN OBODO FREED BY POLICE RESCUE OPERATION

The spokesperson of the Delta State police command ,ASP Charles Mouka has confirmed that Christian Obodo ,Nigerian midfielder and Udinese Calcio of Italy player has been rescued from his kidnappers by men of the Nigerian police in Enevor area of Delta State.Click on read more below to continue....

ASP Mouka also stated that the kidnappers were tracked to a thick forest about 1 hour,30minutes outside Warri.The kidnappers who had kidnapped Obodo on saturday in Warri had demanded for a ransom in the amount of E150,000.No ransom was paid while some of the kidnappers were arrested.

Chike Ogeah,Delta State Commisioner of Information also confirmed the rescue and stated that Christian Obodo would be given full state protection before he returns back to his base in Italy.Kudos to the policemen for a safe rescue operation.
