LAST FLIGHT TO ABUJA IS A BOX OFFICE HIT

Last flight to Abuja which premiered Friday in Lagos is now the
number 2 movie in West African cinemas, second to Dark Knight Rises. In a Facebook post,Obi Emelonye, the film's producer
stated this. Last flight to Abuja is a thriller based on real events
of one of several air crashes which Nigeria witnessed around

Ironically,few days to the London premiere,Nigeria witnessed another horrific plane crash,Dana Air in which all passengers and crew on board perished along with some people on ground when the plane crashed into residential buildings.

I attended the glamorous Nigerian premiere sponsored by Diamond
Bank where a one-minute silence was held for the souls of the
departed in the Dana air crash of June 3,2012. An afterparty was
held at Entyce in Victoria Island. I was really paranoid about attending the much-hyped premiere because of the Aurora,
Colorado killings at the Dark Knight Rises premiere. It turned out to be a great night.
