PHOTO-JOURNALIST ASSAULTED AS BODIES OF LIVI AJUONUOMA AND EHIME AIKHOMU AMONG OTHERS ARE RELEASED TODAY

The bodies of former Group General Manager,Public Affairs of
the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Dr Livi
Ajuonuoma and that of Ehime, son of former military Vice-
President,the late Admiral Augustus Aikhomu are among those
of 21 victims of the June 3, Dana Airline plane crash released

Lagos State commissioner for Health, Dr Jide Idris at a meeting
with the relations of the victims to inform them of the arrival
of results of 132 body specimens sent abroad for identification,
said that with the conclusion of DNA tests on the bodies, Lagos
State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) authorities would
release the bodies from today in batches of 20 a day and in
alphabetical order.A photo-journalist who was taking pictures
at the premises of LASUTH, Benedict Nwalaka was assaulted
by securitymen of LASUTH for taking pictures.
