NIGERIAN COUPLE SENTENCED TO 7 YEARS IN PRISON FOR CHILD ABUSE


At the Wood Green High Court yesterday, a Nigerian couple,Gloria
Musa,Bishop of Power Gospel Assembly International and her
husband were sentenced to 7 years in prison after almost a five-year legal battle between them and London's Harrringey Council.

Harringey Council had evidence that there was gross child abuse on the children which included the couple beating them with brooms,shoes,hoovers and wires,giving the young children too many chores and leaving them home alone and that they even gave a morphine overdose to their baby just days after her first birthday.
Five of the children were taken from the couple in 2010 after
their eldest daughter threw a heart-wrenching SOS note out of 
a window.Sentencing them to seven years behind bars each,Judge James Patrick described it as a shocking maltreatment that they had tried to cover up.

  1. This is serious,a lesson for couples raising kids in the diaspora..you cannot beat your children or maltreat them in any way.
